What We're About
We're a working bakery first.
Our bakers start before sunrise every morning to make bread and pastries from scratch. Everything is made in-house, by hand, from our own dough. What you see in the case was made here.
We also serve great coffee and a small but intentional drink menu, including cacovu, a cacao cold brew we developed in-house.
Stop by for breakfast, grab a loaf on your way home, or sit in our back patio with an espresso. We're glad you're here.
Our Story
Our Bakery
L'Imprimerie has been a neighborhood fixture in Bushwick since 2015, when it opened inside a former printshop on Myrtle Ave (the old printing press is still on the shop floor). In late 2024, the bakery changed hands to new ownership with a simple goal: keep baking great bread and build something new alongside it.
We're a small team that cares about what we make. Our breads are naturally leavened. Our pastries are laminated by hand. Our ingredients come from local and organic sources whenever possible. We mill our own non-white flour in house.
The bakery is also the birthplace of cacovu, a cacao cold brew we created to bring cacao back to what it was for thousands of years: a drink, not a candy. You can try it at the shop or at one of the farmers markets where we sell.
We're a community bakery. Come as you are.
